She flows vocally through different jazz standards as if she lived them herself. Her voice is rich, tasteful and soulful. Lauren brings back the 50's sound with avengence and just plain brilliance. The track, "No Goodbyes", is a composition that propells Lauren in the same class as Ella Fitzgerald and Sarah Vaughan. It's a beautiful and pure composition, and it stands above the rest of the original jazz tracks on the album. The lyrics tell a heart-felt story that can be appreciated by anyone, regardless of age. We recommend everyone to listen to the entire album and we can assure you that you won't be able to stop listening to the project. It's an inspiration for any musician or songwriter.
