Refreshingly soothing and relaxing, "Worry No More" does just that - takes the listener on a journey away from stresses of everyday life and into the utopia of jazz heaven. Led by the beautifully toned tenor sax, every song on this CD displays unrivaled musicianship and skillful composition. Great diversity is also apparent, from the upbeat sounds of "St. Thomas" to the masterpiece ballad dubbed "Gia." "Paradis, Paradise" by Robezz (jazz artist from Nevada (NV))

The CD "Paradis, Paradise" by Robezz is a remarkable album. It has all the ingredients of a great jazz masterpeice. All elements of this album are impressive, including the recording quality and the outstanding musicianship, especially Robezz's keyboard playing, which is very funky, and the drum programming, which is very unique. What stands out the most is his uncanny ability to deliver such precise compositions. The arrangements of every song are very clever. "Las Vegas Life," sounds very similar to a composition from Herbie Hancock. It keeps your attention at all times. This project can stand the test of time. If you are a fan of jazz fusion, We urge you to buy this album.

"Right Where I Belong," by Lauren Hooker (jazz artist from Teaneck, New Jersey (NJ))

The CD, Right Where I Belong, by Lauren Hooker is a very impressive jazz project, packed with original and classic jazz compositions. Lauren's vocals are in a class by themselves. She flows vocally through different jazz standards as if she lived them herself. Her voice is rich, tasteful and soulful. Lauren brings back the 50's sound with avengence and just plain brilliance. The track, "No Goodbyes", is a composition that propells Lauren in the same class as Ella Fitzgerald and Sarah Vaughan. It's a beautiful and pure composition, and it stands above the rest of the original jazz tracks on the album. The lyrics tell a heart-felt story that can be appreciated by anyone, regardless of age. We recommend everyone to listen to the entire album and we can assure you that you won't be able to stop listening to the project. It's an inspiration for any musician or songwriter. Lauren Hooker is here to stay and in our opinion, deserves a Grammy for this project. Pick up a copy today!

"Ecce Jazz" by Pavol Bodnar (jazz artist from the Slovak Republic)

Pavol Bodnar's release of Ecce Jazz is a truly one of a kind jazz project. The CD is well-rounded with various styles such as eclectic jazz fusion, folk music melodies, Latin rhythms and universal harmony. The music on this CD clearly reflects an international sound like no other CD that we've heard recently. Pavol's piano arrangements are very diverse, along with spontaneous improvizing over baroque forms. One of the titles on the album, "3 Roses 4 Martina", is one of our favorites. This track says I am jazz, I am love, I am peace. The vocal style is very similar to Will Downing, and the fretless bass wraps around the melodies, like a tight fitting glove to a hand. This album definitely ranks very high in our book as one of the most sensual, and harmoneous projects to have been released in a long time. We strongly urge you to purchase this CD by Pavol Bodnar, a jazz pianist, composer and arranger.
